Until now, SpiderFoot HX infrastructure has been entirely based in the US since that’s where most of our customers are based.
Over the past few months, however, we’ve seen growing demand from European customers seeking to ensure their SpiderFoot HX data remains within Europe due to the European Court of Justice invalidating the EU-U.S. “Privacy Shield” data transfer mechanism through the Schrems II judgment in July 2020.
And so, we are proud to announce that a new SpiderFoot HX infrastructure in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany to be specific) has been spun up and is ready to serve customers who wish to ensure all their SpiderFoot HX data remains in Europe. Note however that this does not cover any APIs you choose to use within SpiderFoot HX who may or may not keep data within Europe.
The EU infrastructure is available as an add-on option for Enterprise customers, so please contact us if you’re interested!
